So we’ve been exhibiting at some bridal shows, and the feedback from brides has been great. Everyone loves the idea that they don’t have to pay a lot for a wedding photo package. The way we have things positioned works for everyone. All you (the couple who’s getting married) need to do is get a simple DVD package from a wedding photographer. This usually runs $1000-$2000 (based on shooting time and number of photographers). You then bring the DVD to us and we make you a beautiful custom wedding album for less than $800. Together, this is less than a premium photo package from anyone.
Another good thing about this, is in case your photos turn out to be…well, worse than you expected, you’re not locked into an album with the same person. This is the same reason we use many 4GB CF cards (and not one 16GB card) when we shoot your wedding. In case one fails, not all pictures are lost.
In other news, at the last bridal show (Hyatt Regency O’Hare Bridal Show) we revealed 2 new covers. First, was the Genji Japanese patterned silk cover. This is our premium and most expensive cloth cover. And second, was the Asahi Japanese bookcloth – another luxurious material we use. Both albums received rave reviews.
